Freddi Group Srl was established towards the end of the sixties thanks to bold entrepreneurship of its founder Augusto Freddi. his expertise in mechanical engineering made him create structures for tap accessories manufacturing used also by craftsmen in production of zamak pieces.

In 1979 Freddi Augusto and his wife Mrs. Rosa Zaffuto founded Zafre (acronym for both surnames). Their skills allowed the company to reach a role of leadership in producing tap accessories for italian and for whole world wide markets.

In order to satisfy custumers specific needings they opened a second plant, Tecno Crom, to improve production with added service of galvanic treatments on zamak, iron and brass.

In early years of the new millenium with the entry of their two daughters, Catia and Erica Freddi, Zafre and Tecno Crom merged into a single brand: Freddi Group Srl.

In 2006 Metalpol was established as a new plant offering metal treatments being equipped with wheel for grinding, satin finishing, 2 rotating table suitable for polishing zamak, iron and brass.

Freddi Group, today, is still leaded by Mrs. Rosa and her daughters. It is composed of 35 specialized work units and offers a wide range of tap accessories and surface treatments on zamak, brass and iron.
