Galvanic treatment of nickel-plating chrome brilliant or satin nickel

Brilliant Nickel
Nickel plating is a variant to shiny chrome plating and gives to items a brighty mirror effect with a yellow shade. This treatment is particularly suitable for hydraulic or mechanical pieces finishing. Parts subjected to the glossy nickel plating process must be subsequently protected by a layer of transparent varnish because of preservation of the sheen.

Satin Nickel
The satin nickel is the most sophisticated effect obtained in electroplating treatments. This particular matte finish on scratched surface gives a light yellow shade and smart allure. The part is first satin plated and then subjected to electroplating copper plating and nickel matte treatments before being protected by a filmy layer of varnish. In order to obtain a steel effect pieces are satinized plated twice.
